Data Availability Policy

JPLL encourages authors to make the data supporting the results and analyses reported in their articles available to others whenever possible, provided that doing so does not compromise in any way at all the protection of their participants or raise legitimate privacy or security concerns. We highly request authors to reflect on the nature of their research and adhere to relevant ethical standards to protect their participants before deciding whether and how to make their data available.

If authors decide to make their data available, we encourage authors to cite any datasets used or referred to in their article and to include a Data Availability Statement (e.g., publicly archived, available on request, or non-applicable). Authors remain responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of their data, and any errors or shortcomings in the dataset remain the responsibility of its producers.

Examples of Data Availability Statements:

*The participants did not provide written consent and/or were not requested for their data to be made publicly available. Given the sensitive nature of the research, the supporting data could not be shared publicly.

*The supporting data cannot be made publicly available because of the ethical restrictions associated with the study.

*The non-digital data supporting the findings of this study are securely stored and curated at [add location].

*Data sharing is not applicable to this article, as no new data were generated or analysed as part of the study.

*The data supporting the findings of this study are available within the article and/or the accompanying supplementary materials.

*The data supporting the findings of this study are openly available through [repository name] at [URL], under reference number [reference number].
